Our TuitionPay programs shift the workload and expense from your office to ours. Let us answer families' payment questions, handle payment plan administration and provide payment information and enrollment materials - all at no cost to your school.
Reducing Delinquencies The TuitionPay Plan encourages systematic payment habits. Our delinquency rate is less than 1% - so your school can expect low delinquencies among enrolled families. We further encourage on-time payments with multi-step preventive measures and past-due follow-up.
Accounting Integration
We can easily interface student account data with CARS, Datatel (Colleague), PeopleSoft, SCT (Banner, SIS, SIS+), Oracle and many others. Our in-house programmers can also accommodate proprietary systems.
Eliminating Merchant Fees
Does your school accept credit cards for tuition and fee payments (even those not connected to a payment plan)? If so, TuitionPay Express is for you. It's a brand-new solution that lets your school outsource its credit card operation for term bills - and eliminate its merchant fees.
Credit Card Payment
Students and families can use VISA or MasterCard for their TuitionPay Plan enrollment fee or monthly payments. A convenience fee (the lowest in our industry) is assessed for monthly payments.
We also offer TuitionPay Express: a solution that lets schools outsource their credit card operation for term bills - and eliminate merchant fees.
Customer Service
Your school will always have access to a knowledgeable TuitionPay representative who will manage the day-to-day details of your account, while your Account Manager will visit your campus for strategic decisions on your payment options. Your account team is backed up by a fully staffed school call center, which includes I.S. professionals for your technical questions.
School Service
Our school services department is available to help you Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., EST.
We also now have a global mailbox dedicated to support your needs! The box is monitored during business hours, Monday - Friday, 8:30 am-8 pm EST. Please feel free to send any non-time sensitive requests you may have (contract changes, student id number updates, student block requests, requests for information on accounts, etc.) to: TPPsupport@salliemae.com.
Inquiries sent to this box will be responded to within 24 hours during non-peak times, and within 48-72 hours during peak times. This will eliminate waiting for questions to be answered when your specialist is away from the office for any period of time.
Student/Family Service
Our specially trained TuitionPay Consultants provide one-on-one service - not one-size-fits-all. For toll-free financial guidance, students and families can call 800.635.0120, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., EST.
