Our Survey Says...
TuitionPay was built on feedback from focus groups and surveys of both school executives and parents. We wanted to learn what challenged schools most. We also wanted to uncover just how prepared families were to pay for college, and what their expectations and misconceptions might be regarding funds available to them.We found that:
- More than 70% of parents of high school juniors believed that grants and scholarships would cover the majority of the bill
- 67% of parents expressed an interest in using interest-free payment plans
- 40% would have liked to learn more about financial planning alternatives
We also learned that, nationwide, schools like yours echoed the shortage of information perceived by parents. 40% said that help with financial counseling would be useful to them, and only 32% said they were completely satisfied with their staffing and resources for providing such counseling.
